Welcome to My Gallery
My name is Keira Raack. I am 17 years old, and I am a senior in high school. I have taken Graphic Design classes the past 3 years, and I am currently in AP Studio Art 2D. I love creating art pieces digitally, and I hope you enjoy my gallery of a few of my favorite artworks.
Mater Dei Holiday Card Design
I created this art piece during my sophomore year, but it was chosen to be the cover of my school's annual Christmas card sent out to thousands involved with my school. The prompt was to hand draw a picture of Mary and Jesus while overlaying the background with everyday items to add the colors. Mary's hair is made of wood flooring, her robe is made of a towel, her halo is made of gold slime, and her halo outline is made of gold paint. Jesus' hair is made of a marble countertop, while his robe is made of a carpet. Finally, the wallpaper is made of different types of tiles.
PowerPlay Pickleball Logotype
I was asked to create the logo type for new pickleball club, PowerPlay Pickleball. This is the logo type being painted on the side of a 40,000 square foot building in Los Angeles. Over 260,000 cars a day drive by this location on one of the busiest LA freeways.
PowerPlay Pickleball Logomark
This is the corresponding logo mark being painted inside the pickleball club. I created the two lined paddle to represent the two "P"s in PowerPlay. I additionally shaped the paddle to have a more "P" shaped form. This logomark is printed on shirts, hats, bags and water bottles.
